The B. Braun Q8001 is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, isotonic solution designed for intravenous (IV) administration. Each 100 mL of solution contains 900 mg of Sodium Chloride, delivering 154 mEq/L of both sodium and chloride, with an osmolarity of 308 mOsmol/L. It is supplied in a 500 mL EXCEL® Plus IV container, made without PVC or DEHP, minimizing the risk of complications associated with plasticizers.
